"So you probably won't believe me when I can tell you the exact date and where I was when I first tried a honey stinger waffle 7 years ago, but it was Feb 15, 2014 in Zions National Park. I recall specifically as I was on a trip with a group of 20 other young, single adults exploring Southern Utah on a long weekend over Valentine's Day, just meant to be a good get together for those without other plans. I remember the weekend vividly since I only went on the trip since a guy, we will call him Blake, I was newly interested in was hosting it and I love Southern Utah and adventures. One important part of the story was that there were 10 other women and 10 other men, But wouldn't you know it...I came to find out, all the women were crushing on the man I was! So while deep in the canyons of Zions all weekend, we had a blast...until the end, when we realized the shuttle car had got a hole in the oil pan 7 miles down the dirt road. It was after dark and we were exhausted. All I had were canyoneering shoes and a little water left. We were stranded, far from anyone we knew or any cell service. So we started walking. I was pretty hungry so Blake whips out a Honey Stinger Waffle and asks if I've ever had one, and I hadn't, so he offered it to me and boy it just hit the spot! After a long day of repelling and canyoneering it was just the sustenance I needed. I was feeling better after a little fuel, so I offered to actually run to get the other car since it would take a couple hours to walk and it was getting late. I had run my first marathon 2 weeks prior and felt re-fueled after some water and a waffle so I borrowed a guy's shoes and proceeded to run 7:30 miles for 7 miles through the desert on a dirt road to get the other car, go pick up the group and get everyone back to camp safely. And wouldn't you know it, in spite of all those other girls there, a few days later got the guy too. Fueled by Honey Stinger."
