Honey Stinger is proud to announce they have entered into a two-year partnership with Alterra Mountain Company, the owner and operator of 15 North American mountain destinations.
The partnership establishes Honey Stinger as an Official Nutrition Partner of five select Alterra Mountain Company destinations – Steamboat and Winter Park in Colorado, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain and June Mountain in California.
The partnership, which runs through December of 2022, delivers highly visible branding, exclusive sales and sampling opportunities throughout the destinations, and offers unique digital and social collaborations. Moreover, it enables Honey Stinger to connect with a broad new group of outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers and athletes – a cornerstone of the brand since its inception nearly two decades ago.
“Developed by local athletes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the Honey Stinger brand was truly ‘born and bred’ in the mountains, and we draw inspiration each day from the many mountain athletes whose adventures we are proud to support,” said Mike Keown, CEO of Honey Stinger. “We could not think of a more fitting partner for the brand than these Alterra Mountain Company destinations, which share our passion for outdoor sports, the environment and respect for all people. We are so excited to partner with them as they continue to offer premier mountain experiences for athletes and adventurers of all kinds.”
“Not only does Honey Stinger provide exceptional nutrition products that will help fuel our guests, we also appreciate its deep roots in Steamboat, bringing a passion for outdoor recreation and a longstanding commitment of supporting athletes and adventurers,” said Ryan Blanchard, Director of Brand Partnerships, Alterra Mountain Company.
