Where can I find Honey Stinger?

Honey Stinger can be purchased directly through our website or from the thousands of retailers who carry our products. Please visit our Store Locator here to find the nearest Honey Stinger Dealer. If you’d like to see Honey Stinger in a local retailer, please complete our Product Request Form and submit it to your local shop. Website sales currently serve US and US territories. Use the Store Locator to find current dealers in the US and Canada. 

What is the shelf life of Honey Stinger?

Honey Stinger Waffles have a best buy date of 12 months from date of manufacture and gels, bars and chews have a best by date of 18 months from date of manufacture. All our products have a best buy date printed on the individual product packaging.

Are Honey Stinger products safe for kids?

All Honey Stinger products are made from natural ingredients, so they are great snacks for children over one. Our Strawberry-Kiwi Gels, Performance Chews and select Rapid Hydration Mixes are naturally caffeinated, so many parents choose to avoid giving these products to children.

How do Honey Stinger products do on sensitive stomachs?

We use honey as a sweetener in our products. Honey has the same glucose to fructose ratio of fruit, 1:1. If you can eat fruit without getting an upset stomach you should be able to eat Honey Stinger without any problems.

Can I eat Honey Stinger products while pregnant?

Many women enjoy our products while pregnant or breast feeding. Our products do contain raw organic honey and we recommend consulting your doctor to find out if Honey Stinger is right for you during this time.

Are Honey Stinger products free of genetically modified ingredients (GMOs)?

Yes, Honey Stinger takes great pride in the selection of ingredients we use in our products, and only use the highest quality available, which include Non-GMO ingredients.

Which Honey Stinger products are Gluten Free?

We understand the need for Gluten Free options! Our Gluten Free Waffles, Classic Energy Chews, Performance Chews, Rapid Hydration Mixes, and Energy Gels are certified Gluten-Free!

What Honey Stinger Products are USDA Organic, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Nut Free and/or Kosher?

Do I have to be an athlete to use Honey Stinger?

Athletes who fuel with Honey Stinger often use our products as healthy snack alternatives. And each of our Recover products, with 10 grams of protein or more, can serve as meal replacements.  It is entirely up to you as to how you want to enjoy and benefit from Honey Stinger.

What is the Prepare, Perform, Recover system?

Within our PREPARE, PERFORM, RECOVER philosophy, Honey Stinger offers products to fuel every step of every athletic journey! They prime your system before a workout, to PREPARE you with a source of immediate, lasting energy. They help you PERFORM your best, providing fuel that’s easy to digest to help sustain your efforts for longer. And to help you RECOVER, Honey Stinger has options with just the right amount of protein and carbs to help repair your muscles after exercise.

How do I use the Prepare, Perform, Recover system?

Does Honey Stinger have any vegan options?

While some vegans do eat honey, our products are not considered vegan because they contain honey produced by friendly bees!

Where does the 'energy’ come from?

Energy in our products comes from carbohydrates and honey. Honey is a natural sugar and lower on the glycemic index than refined sugar. The glycemic index of foods refers to how quickly and how high blood sugar (glucose) increases in comparison to pure glucose. Honey is a mix of simple sugars: glucose and fructose (there are others but in smaller proportions). Sucrose is comprised of glucose and fructose joined together, which our bodies need to break down before they can be used, which takes time. In honey the glucose and fructose molecules are not joined so they can be used straight away.

Why do Honey Stinger products contain sodium, potassium and magnesium?

Sodium, potassium, and magnesium are vital electrolytes that keep your muscles functioning while minimizing cramping associated with intense exercise.

What is the difference between the Organic Energy Gels and the Classic Energy Gels?

The Classic Energy Gels consist of 95% honey, giving them a strong honey flavor. Besides the organic certification, the Organic Gels are a combination of organic honey and organic tapioca syrup to give them less viscosity than the Classic Gels as well as a less prominent honey flavor.

What is the caffeine source in your Strawberry Kiwi Gel, Performance Chews and select Rapid Hydration Mixes?

Strawberry Kiwi Gels contain 32 milligrams (mg) of caffeine (per individual packet) derived from green tea extract.


Performance Chews contain 75mg of caffeine (per individual packet) derived from white tea extract.


Our Rapid Hydration Mixes leverage Guayusa extract for 50 mg of caffeine (per individual packet) to help sustain energy levels without the jitters!

Shipping, Returns, & Subscriptions

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, orders over $50 in the Continental United States get free ground shipping! When your product total reaches $50 the option for free shipping will become available at checkout. All orders under $50 are eligible for $8 flat rate shipping.

Do you accept returns?

We accept returns on apparel items. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on food products. If you have a concern regarding your order, please contact customerservice@honeystinger.com so we can assist!

What forms of payment do you accept online?

Via ShopPay, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept GooglePay and ApplePay, both of which will show at checkout if available.

When will my order arrive?

We generally ship in-stock orders the next business day. Once your order leaves our warehouse, you can expect your delivery within 2-5 business days based on your selected shipping method. Our flat rate shipping method is FedEx Ground.The cutoff time for same day expedited shipping is 12:00pm Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Can you ship to a PO Box or APO/FPO (Military)?

Yes, we can. If you ship to a PO Box or APO/FPO (Military) please choose that option at checkout! PO/APO orders will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail.

What do I do if my Honey Stinger is defective/damaged?

Our products undergo thorough quality assurance procedures to ensure they live up to our high standards. However, if you receive your product and it is defective, damaged or does not meet your expectations please snap a photo and send it to customerservice@honeystinger.com so that we can assess the situation and prevent it from happening again.

I live outside the USA, can you ship to me?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time. We hope to make this an option in the future.  

We do ship to the US territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. Please select “Non-Continual US” shipping at checkout.

Subscription Policy

Our Subscribe and Save program is a great way to save on your orders! Choose your recurring order frequency and have your favorite products automatically shipped. You will receive an email 72 hours before every subscription shipment. We kindly require 48 hours notice to modify or cancel your subscription.

How do I edit my existing subscription?
