Clare Gallagher
Clare ran her first ultra in Northern Thailand among some of the most poisonous snakes in the world. Did she have any Honey Stinger, you ask? Absolutely not! She started her ultra career eating sticky rice drenched in molasses. How things progress! Clare now lives in her home state of Colorado and advocates for public land protections and climate change mitigation when she's not running. She's won the Western States 100-mile run, Leadville 100-mile run and CCC 101k (UTMB series). She has the Fastest Known Times on the 48-mile Zion Traverse and the 37-mile Joshua Tree Traverse. Other important information: Clare's Dad keeps bees in his backyard in suburban Denver. Colony collapse disorder be damned!
