Jaelin Kauf: Delivering the Love — On The Podium and Beyond
"Honey Stinger is my go-to fuel on competition days. A chew or a bite of waffle between every run keeps me energized and locked in all day!"
- Jaelin Kauf
When the moguls course narrows and the stakes skyrocket, Jaelin Kauf doesn’t just ski — she dominates. A powerhouse on the world stage and a proud member of the Honey Stinger athlete family, Kauf’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose.
Born in Vail, Colorado and raised in the snowy hills of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Alta, Wyoming, Kauf grew up breathing the mountain air and carving turns almost before she could walk. With two seasoned mogul competitors for parents, skiing was never just a hobby — it was her heritage.
Training with the prestigious Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, including under coach, mentor, and longtime Honey Stinger employee Nate Bird, helped prepare her for a lifetime of athletic competition. Since a young age, Honey Stinger has been Jaelin's fuel of choice while training to achieve her lofty goals.
"It's been a great joy to be a small sliver of J'Lo's journey to the top of World Cup mogul skiing. I'm over the moon that she's now a team rider for Honey Stinger too!"
- Nate Bird, Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Mogul Coach | Honey Stinger Director of Sales
A Career Defined by Speed, Precision, and Bravery
Jaelin has cemented her status as a prominent competitor in freestyle mogul skiing. She exploded onto the global scene as a junior medalist and hasn’t looked back. Across two Winter Olympic appearances, she captured silver in women’s moguls at Beijing 2022, a moment that announced her arrival on the grandest stage.
The winter of 2024-25 was another successful season for Kauf. She achieved a remarkable Three Crystal Globes, winning titles in moguls, dual moguls, and overall standings — alongside a 14-event podium streak and eight individual victories, culminating in her first Dual Moguls World Championship victory.
She stands poised as a contender for gold heading into the 2026 competitive season; her blend of raw speed, aerial skill, and fierce competitive instinct making her one of America's most compelling winter sports athletes.
Beyond the Podium: Advocacy and Impact
But Kauf’s ambitions reach beyond the moguls course. Committed to fostering confidence and opportunity in others, she serves as an advocate for women and girls in sports, reinforcing gender equity through her work with the Women’s Sports Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to advancing girls’ and women’s involvement in athletics at all levels.
In late 2025, Kauf launched the Deliver the Love™ Foundation, her own initiative rooted in the belief that sport can be a catalyst for self-confidence and community. Based in her hometown region of Teton Valley, the foundation aims to expand access to sport, mentorship, and scholarships for young girls, encouraging them to pursue their passions — whether that’s skiing, climbing, biking, or beyond.
Her motto, “Deliver the Love,” isn’t just a phrase on her helmet — it’s a philosophy she lives by, on and off the snow. It’s a reminder that effort, heart, and joy are as meaningful as medals and titles.
A Life Fully Lived
Off course, Kauf balances world class competition and training with a life rich in outdoor adventure. She’s an avid surfer, mountain biker, hiker, and water sports enthusiast — a true ambassador for an active, nature-centric lifestyle.
She also gives back through mentorship — headlining a cohort on Back The Team, a platform connecting aspiring athletes with Olympic mentors — sharing insights on resilience, mental toughness, and how to navigate the pressures of high-performance sport.
