At 68 years old and racing motorcycles (motocross) I'm looking for any advantage I can get in addition to training and riding. I use the gel pac 20-30 minutes before each moto and have noticed that I'm not feeling much of an energy loss toward the end of each moto and recovery seems to be quicker as well. The other advantage (for me) is that I have trouble getting food (energy) down on a race day so these definitely help in that respect.
